Gniewko, a sensitive 27-year-old programmer, works for a large corporation. His life changes when he gets the chance to use an extraordinary invention – a robot double. This robot not only looks like Gniewko but even seems a bit better: relaxed, confident, and equipped with an auto-correct feature for speech. The idea of using the robot for work is tempting, but Gniewko has something more personal in mind. He wants to use his mechanical double to get closer to Lena, the girl he has secretly had a crush on for a long time.

Born in 1991 in Gdynia, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Gdansk in 2015. Afterwards, he pursued film directing and completed his studies at the Gdynia Film School in 2023. His diploma project is a science-fiction short film titled “love_proxy,” which explores human relationships in a world dominated by technology.
