After the fall of communism in 1989, color televisions ceased to be a luxury item in Poland. Screens in Polish homes began to reflect a reality that looked more like the world outside their windows. But is reality truly colorful?

Graduate of directing, currently a PhD student and lecturer at the Lodz Film School. Previously studied journalism and art history at the University of Warsaw. His film “Diabeł” received a special jury mention at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2023 and was screened at over 60 film festivals worldwide. His latest film, “Taniec w narożniku,” premiered in the Semaine de la Critique section at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
